Genre: General Fiction
This hilarious novel explores Sheldon's desire to change his home life-and what happens when he does. His choices set in motion consequences that are unique to the art of wife-swapping.
SWAP incorporates politics, movies and baseball into an inspirational story about life's simplicities and what happens when choices make them complicated. This innovative book mirrors the real life episode that occurred when New York Yankees pitchers Mike Kekich and Fritz Peterson swapped wives, children and pets before the 1973 season.

Excerpt From SWAP
Sheldon’s mom had a very strange habit. She was always putting life’s happenings, no matter how small or how large, into a movie setting, or most often a movie quote. Not any particular movie, just any scene or quote that seemed to fit. And, she knew and remembered a lot of movies.
For instance, she thought that everyone should get a taste of Jerry Lewis’s character “FELLA” in the movie “CINDERFELLA”, who turned from ganged up on half-brother to handsome Prince. In the scene when that happens “FELLA” comes strutting into the ball, down a staircase that seems fifty stories high. The music is very cool and everyone in the crowd is just gawking at him, now that he’s the hippest of the hip.
“That’s the way fame should taste, and of course how the background music should sound as well,” Sheldon’s mom would say.
Sheldon wanted to be famous, even at age 11.
“I want to be a famous baseball player,” he said as he unwrapped the deck of baseball cards his mom had bought for him earlier. Sheldon had seen the movie “CINDERFELLA” many times, and he wanted to enter the world of the famous to that type of music; he wanted to strut down those stairs.
