Known as "The Creative City," West Hollywood is an artist enclave, home to a large community of entertainment industry workers, musicians, designers and other artisans. And when the city puts on a literary event, the public shows up with enthusiasm. Last year's festival drew a reported 20,000 spectators, and such notable authors as Tod Goldberg, Aimee Bender, Eloise Klein Healey, Linda Palmer, Leslie Schwartz and David Ullin have all made appearances at previous fairs.
